Some fucken guy at a party said I was a ricer for having an "H" emblem on my JDM front integra. I was like WTF, are u serious? That was the first time I have been called a ricer. I was wondering if it is ricey if you have a "H" emblem on an integra. What do you guys think ?

 

hahaha, if you drive an japanese import it is rice...rice = asian car no matter which way you try to put it....if you don't like being called rice, then stick to spam

 

all i have to say is, expletive that guy. its not ricey if you got a jdm front end. i had one on my old teg, i got more compliments than accusations of being a ricer. i think it looks good on a teg cuz by no means is it a luxury sports car, its more like a civic with all of the plastic parts in the car. i bet the guy who said that to you was some sort of domestic head.

 

Thats his opinion, in reality its really what you like, or what you feel is ricey. Do what you feel is right, or what you like, leave the judging to everyone else. As long as you are happy that is what really matters. Just my .02

 

I don't think it's ricey. It's a Honda. Shesh, in Japan, some Japanese people put the "Acura" emblems on their car. is THAT ricey? I think those "R" badges are ricey (Not the Red Acura/Honda badges but the ones with the letter "R")

 

It's funny because I always make fun of ricers with altezzas and huge fart cans, and this guy calls me a ricer for having an "H" emblem on my "ACURA". So i took it as a huge insult. Yah he was a domestic guy he drives a camero

They're Honda's, plain and simple. Don't let it get to you mang, he's probably just jealous of your car.

 

When I got my integra it did'nt have any emblems on it so I just went ahead and put Honda emblems on it, so I think it is ricey. I guess its different if it has one of those "jdm" fronts on it tho.

 

i personally think its so stupid... the only people who know its really a honda are like 1% or less of the population... youll just confuse the rest or theyll think you have a honda... which is fine i guess for some... but i like my ACURA. ive never liked the name honda. the way it sounds the way it looks.... Acura is so much better to me...

the average person doesnt know much about hondas... other than they have big *** wings they always do burn outs for stupid reasons. and they sound like they are farting their guts out.....

i love my ACURA integra but sometimes i hate that somepeople know its truly a honda..... cause then they associate it with the rest of those honda people who i am nothing like. i dont like JDM I dont like OEM..... my car is made to my likes.... but it works cause to the average person it looks nicer than the other lil hondas...

all these people getting amber.... a couple years ago everyone was trying to get rid of amber... i dont get the amber thing... i absolutely hate amber. its a stupid color... red is much cooler but illegal in the front haha...

but i have clear corners. cause they go with my black car and CLEAR headlights.

but this was a long rant... pointless too cause most people are so brainwashed they still think all those things are clean... but i know eventually theyll grow out of it... im just so happy i never got into that.... another thing i hate is black(CF hoods) hoods on a red or white car... omg... it just looks unpainted... and again... thats only something a car person would understand.. even as a car person it hurts my eyes to see that kinda **** cause i just think it looks aweful... i also hate two tone paintjobs... though ive seen like 3 that i really think did look good.. but 99% look stupid. american car import car... they just look stupid. lots of people with two tone nsxs eventually got them painted all one color.. hahah i guess they grew out of it.

 

i have honda emblems on mine..and the jdm front..i dont think its rice..i mean. the valve cover says honda..and every part on that car has a honda part # not acura..so i dont see why people think its rice. people are ridiculous..he prolly drives a 6 banger camaro

I'm pretty sure it says honda on an acura more times than it accually says acura. And to answer your question i dont think its ricey at all.

besides, you probably could've slapped the hyundai emblem on that bad boy and he still would've called it rice. at least it matches to what the car really is, a HONDA!

so tell me this... i once saw a '02 mustang svt cobra that slapped a nissan skyline "GT-R" emblem on every corner of the car... can i call that ricey since it has an import emblem on it? either way, it looked frickin dumb. i bet those svt/cobra emblems were fake too. haha =P

haha, I think they sell those wanna be skyline emblems at kragen and atuozone. I steer clear of those retarded APC products. Anyways, there's this dude near my pad, he has a del sol, with a body kit and some mustang tail lights in the back...it's a pretty clean car I'll tell you that, and if it didn't have so many dam stickers on it, would look pretty nice (935 stickers, etc...) but why mustang tail lights on an import...I guess he likes rice and hamburgers.

IMHO, rice=fad. The old rice was having big ugly bodykits, big airplane wings, big wheels, HUGE EXHAUST TIPS, neon underlights. People who have that now are called idiots...no longer ricers. The new rice is JDM...a fad. Eventually it will start to fade away just like neon, big bodykits, big spoilers, ETC. Putting "honda" emblems on a "Acura" is plain stupid, what do you think? IS ur car FROM JAPAN...right hand drive? NO, so imo its dumb to switch emblems. But the fact reamains that the car is yours and you can do whatever the expletive you want with it.
