Update on Cross Threaded Bolt
I posted a topic a few weeks ago about what to do w/ a cross threaded bolt on the subframe of my car. It was the one on the rear suspension that bolts onto the actual car. Here is the link to the original thread.

Anyways, I went out and bought a tap and die kit from craftsman incase it came to that. I took everything out including the cross threaded bolt, while taking my time. I then lubed up the hole and lined up teh bolt how it was supposed to go in, w/out the camber arm in place. I was twist the bolt in 4 turns, and then out 3. I kept doing this until the damn thing got all the way in. It wasn't too much of a PITA, just a little time consuming. All in all, I was happy because I took back my $35 kit, and I got that ******* bolt back in straight without any problems.
Thanks for the help guys.

You should have kept that tap and die set (assuming it was metric). I bought one on sale once for maybe $25-$30 and I couldn't even begin to tell you how many countless times that has saved me from having to stop what I was doing and buying a new bolt for something, or even worse messing up a hole where a bolt goes in. I use it all the time to clean up threads on bolts and bolt holes, especially ones that look like they are about to strip.
Yea, I would have kept that kit except I had it on my parents Credit card because my debit was empty
The metric kit was awesome though, it had about every size. Next time I need it for any reason, I'll just invest in it wiht my money and keep it.
