Trunk light

I have a 99 gsr. the problem i've been having is the trunk light keeps coming on everytime i go 55mph+ and when i hit bumps. The trunk is not open. Is there any way to fix that?

Once it comes on... don't go beloew 50mph or the car will blow up...

Seriously though, check the switch, is it really easy to move? Is it just moving when you hit bumps etc?

try adjusting the rubber grommets that support the back hatch...i think if you turn them counter clockwise they start to raise and shoudl hold it firmly once closed.
