I have a b18b with 11.2:1 compression with crower 404 cams ( I/H/E 2/1/4")
MY buddy own's a mustang dyno and we are having trouble getting the fuel map right...putting a chip in a 0bd1 ecu!!

I'm wondering what guys on here have been using a magagement????

 

Well, which management are you using? Or which "chip" rather, as you put it?

 

We are trying to creat a chip...we are leaning out the idle and trying to feed the engine from there on! under 5500rpm we are having no luck making good power and starting to get frustrated!!! From 5500and up we are pretty much at 13.3 fuel air wich is good!!

So I'm wonderign what other options do I have?

 

Have you messed with the timing? Timing and air/fuel are the most important things really.

 

We are having trouble getting a good idle therefore distributor timing is an issue...Wish I could show you the dyno graphs but it kinfd of seems like my car is not getting out of base timming??? We are returning to the dyni tomorrow at 7am abd I need to know where to go from here!

 

Well, gimme an example. At 5000rpm, what is the timing? What is it at 6000? I wish I could find some timing tables. Try searching for them, I just did for a little and I couldn't find anything.

I only mad 91whp and 87 pounds of troque!! The bottom end of my engine was built by a machine shop and the rest was doen by the most reputable engine builder in Ottawa!! ( contacts help LOL) he will actually be present tomorrow morning has well!!!

I have p30 pistons, crower 404 cams, crane valvtrain, skunk 2 cam gears, arp rod bolts and head studs and my engine is a 98 jdm!!

Unless your tuner figures out what he is doing, buying a S300 will be a waste of money.

 

He is the one who wants me to get it cause he only touches Hondas when they have s300 normally!!
