Traction problems !!!

Hey guys how the hell have you all been ?
Anyway so I've started having a problem that I figured you guys could give some insight on. This past summer, I found that my perfect launch was achieved at 4500 rpm ( the tires would just screech slighty and I was off). But for the past few weeks, when I launch at 4500 rpm, I just sit at the line spinning !
Now there could be a few things at play here. First, I have Azenis, that I have used quite a bit since the summer, but upon visual inspection, they seem to be fine with almost the same tread amount as what I had in the summer. The second thing I was thinking is that could it be the change in the temperature ? The temp has drop recently by about 30 degrees. I mean would the sudden drop in temp give the motor that much extra power, that I am spinning where I once was catching traction ? Or could it be something else? What do you guys think ?

Either youve used your tires too its full extent and need replacing, or its what you said. The temperature has to do with everything when it comes to better traction and off the line accleration. At the drag, people burn out/spin tires to heat them up a lil bit. Alot of people cut off .1-.3 due to temperature. if its moist, dry, humid, hot cold, everything comes into effect. So I think its just temperature change man, no worries
i think it would be a combination of everything u said...if u drove on the tires, then theyre going to wear, even if your not dragging or racing on them. the thing with the temp is: ur not really making any more power per se, even though ur engine is sucking in a colder intake charge. but, ur tires are probably not warm enough to grip the asphalt when u launch. thats my best guess.

Good point...I actually never thought of that

no worries ..i feel your pain!
its temperture and humidity and its cold now days...so things start to get pretty cold and easy to slip...even when its dry pavement ...its wintertime...

Is this at the same track? Generally, tires get stickier as they get older. So if its at the same track, Ill stick with everyone else saying that the temp is whats killing your traction.
