Default handling problems

i 've got serious problems driving at limit with my standard 15x6 rims with
195/55 bridgestone S02 tires... for example driving a slight corner with 120 km/h
the car looses the perfect line and breaks out to the left and right and feels really
instable... what do you guys think? time for axis measurement?

I have the same thing going on with my s-03's... 195/50/15. My car doesn't necessarily feel unstable, but it seems to drift off-line during slight turns at medium/high speed (50mph and above). This happens consistently, and before and after alignments, so I'm not so sure there is actually any problem. Just the tire, maybe? I'd be interested in any theories as well.

it can happen when you have brand new tires on... tires need 500km to rib off
slick firtst layer... but my tires have 20.000km on, so wtf? I had S02's before, no problems...

Perhaps it's a problem between the seat and the wheel?

Ken, what about your tires? Perfect grip or would you go for wide tires instead?

You can't diagnose a problem like this on the internet - you may have problems with:
1) alignment - i.e. toe in/out
2) camber
3) uneven road surfaces i.e. off camber turn, crowned road
4) tire pressures and uneven tire wear
5) driver error (i.e. too much entry speed, improper brake technique, poor driver seating position, poor steering technique, incorrect visual assessment of the driving line)

And what the heck is an axis measurement?
