Re: traction bar
the db1 teggs already have traction bars just look under the front of ur teg and there is a bar that runs aong the bottom of the core support it has 2 bolts in it just tightin them as tight as you can get them and it will do the same as the other aftermarket traction bars

Re: traction bar
I have the Full-Race traction bar. I like it and looks structurally more reinforced then the Innovative traction bar, but there are some flaws in it's design for my set up. First, the bar sits really low from the front end and usually hits on dips, but it can take a beating. Second, the transmission mount bar(wish they made that part removable)was in the way of my Cable to Hydro clutch actuator( B18C1 swap) and I had to cut it off. Lastly, the bracket that bolts the radius rods to the lower control arm sits to high and if you upgrade your front sway bar, will cause the bracket and sway bar to hit each other during suspension travel. Other than that, the handling on my car improved and has allowed me to have a more varied selection on Header applications. Oh, also read up on the installation manual Full-Race has on their site, it was kind of a hassle to install for the first time and remember to align your car once you install either one of these(caster).

Re: traction bar
yea i dont like the way it sits so low especially since my car is really low, but there is a guy selling one locally for 300, i wouldnt have clearance problems with the tranny bc im still running my stock tranny and if i change it im just gonna get a gsr trans. and i wish i woulda had my caster done when i took my car to get my toe zero'd out bc it looks like my left front tire sits about an inch further back in the wheel well than the passenger side one

Re: traction bar
anyone of you know how well the skunk2 brand tcb works? iv been thinking about getting that one myself for a street setup. Nothing fancy under my hood but i sure love to hug them corners. I dont know much about them, so do they only control wheel spin? I'd like to know if its worth getting on a stock LS...

Re: traction bar
yea they will help a bit with wheelspin, hence why they are called "traction" bars. also try getting some better tires, RS3's are super sticky
