Default TP Sensor problem. NEED HELP FAST!!!

Hey all,

(integra ls with motor swap.)

I'm having this common problem with my integra where it jerks when you slowly gas it. For example, if i start off on first gear, on a normal car your able to let off the gas and press it without it jerking/boggin back and forth, however, my car jerks back and forth as if a motor mount is loose or something. I have checked all my mounts and they are perfect.

I was told that it is the TP Sensor that is causing the jerk. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?? Thanks!

my buddy has the same problem with a B20 in a 98 DX hatch. ive driven it and yeah, when youre in parking lots, you have to either be on the clutch or gas. its weird. he used his DX harness to run the B20 and i think he said he gets code 54 which is the Crank Fluctuation sensor. ill ask him exactly what codes he gets.

i just talked to him and the only codes he gets is 54 and 65.. so 54 is the Crank Fluctuation and 65 is secondary O2, but thats because he doesnt have one. his car is still doing that low speed jerk so its gotta be something to do with that code 54. the motor is a 01 and he used the DX/CRV distributor combo.. i think its the 98 DX internals in a twin cam housing with shaft, so maybe its not liking that. i think it has to be something with the distributor so were gonna see if he can borrow someones distributor and maybe someones obd2-1 ECU harness and see how it runs with obd1.

ill keep this topic alive and let you know.
