Default Timng advancing question

What ia a good timing setting for a b20. Right now I have it set at the stock 16 degrees btdc. Would I make anymore power if I advance it more?

im not so sure how to do this but u advance it one degree at a time until i tihnk its a rattling noise or sumthin, u mgiht wanna search for exactly wut is it, but once u hit that spot retard the timing either 2 or 3 degrees

i would just adjust it to 2 degrees max...so u will be at 18 when u shoot on the timing gun...i wish i could tell u what color they are on the crank pulley...i think red is 16 if im not mistaken
