So I have a 99 Integra with a b18c1 in it. The motor is completely rebuilt. I was getting ready to take it on a few hundred miles trip so I beat on it alittle bit before hand. I had a existing idle problem before hand. Then it would keep climbing rpms to 8k. In gear and out of gear. When it was in gear it would stop after a few seconds then the rpms would drop after that. I would slightly touch the gas and then I'd let off and it would continue to climb the rpms after that. Up to around 6k then would drop back down. It kept doing it till I shut the car off. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

 

Check and clean the IACV.
