On the way to work i was in fith gear doing 45mph. I just gave the throttle a little push to pass a car and then my throttle gets stuck. my foots off the throttle and its still acceling. i had to retracked the pedal back with my foot to decel the gsr. how do i fix this problem.

I can still go easy on the throttle and drive it without it getting stuck but when i want to floor it it does the samething...

 

wd40 on the throttle bracket. check the tension. might need to replace it.

45 on a highway isnt scary.. 50 and rising through a narrow parking lot full of cars with multiple dividers is.

hahaha. my old gsr was a deathtrap.

 

Could it be the throttle cable?

 

I will use the wd40 and if the problem continues I will replace thanx.
