i have a gsr with 01 type-r head and was wonderin if theres a difference in the gap on spark plugs cause i need to change mine.

yes they are gapped differently
itr gapped to .044
gsr gapped to .052
ITR Spark Plugs (NGK)
GSR Spark Plugs (NGK)

Uh, yeah, heat ranges are different also.

NGK (7-heat range) gapped to .044" or 1.1mm if your running close to ITR compression.
If stock GSR compression or lower since you're running an ITR head, NGK (6-heat range gapped to .052" or 1.3mm
If stock GSR compression or lower since you're running an ITR head, NGK (6-heat range gapped to .052" or 1.3mm

If block is stock, head hasn't been milled, and ITR head with stock valves, your CR is close to 9.8:1
