Default which test pipe to get??

what kind of test pipe should i get?? i plan on having 2.25 in. piping for my exhaust.

regardless, it's only a straight through pipe. no sense in really getting a test pipe if you just get a high flow carsound cat though... it's legal and flows freely doing the absolute mininum. just get a muffler shop to make you one "for track use" that bolts up to your header/downpipe and to your exhaust.

thanx i never thought about that. how much should it cost. i'm just wondering so i don't get them to do it then get ripped off. what is too much?

IMO, they are all the same. A test pipe is a test-pipe. There is no performance difference. Its just a straight pipe.

with an 02 Bung welded and CAT material inside..

(well, on mine there is.. OBDII.. so CEL.)

don't i have to do something for the O2 sensor?? so that the check engine light doesn't come on all the time??

Just get a free flowing cat. Do we really need to turn a clean car into a polluter, just for a couple horses? It would maybe be different if you had done every single all motor mod in the book and were running out of ways to gain hp, but you are driving a stock LS. Its not going to be fast either way. Might as well get a carsound and let those around you breathe a little easier.
