Default Taillights problem!! Help!

Hey guys. My friend Gsr taillight is acting up..The problem is that when you turn on the light the backlight won't turn on. It turn on when you step on the brake and turn. The headlights seem fine. Also the gauge cluster light is not on whatsoever also. help..thanks you

Check the fuses. There's one under the hood and one under the dash I believe. Check the bulbs also, make sure you're using the right one.

Well I check all of the fuse already twice!! and not any is blown.....

Then make sure the bulbs are the correct ones. Forcing the wrong ones into the sockets could cause that. If that's not it, you're in for some fun looking for open grounds & bad wiring in your trunk.

Check them a third time... the tail lights are on the same fuse as the horn, etc.. 20amp fuse.

(It took me forever to figure out why mine weren't working, as my fuse box cover doesn't have the sticker on it explaining what each fuse is..)

check the bulbs. there are two filaments in the brakelight bulb... one for braking and one when you turn on your lights. make sure both filaments are fine. sometimes one filament brakes and the other is still fine

one time i couldnt figure out why my dome light wouldnt come on, friend looked and it was a fuse lol
