Default Tach Flutter Speedo Dancing (Lengthy)

Here is the synopsis of my problem...
I have a 94 LS Integra with a ITR swap full ITR interior(Cluster, could be relevent information) and recently this problem has reared its ugly head.

ANOTHER PROBLEM
Motor setup is a 98 ITR swap with a ITR trans... Prior to the ITR trans goin onto the motor I was running an Si tranny with no problems what-so-ever. Upon installation of the R tranny when accelerating hard (WOT) the Speedo bounces its way up to the speodo. I have tried to remedy the situation by swappin out the VSS from the Si trans even though the exterior physiques were slightly different(gear drive looked to be the same) the result was the speedo not working. I also installed a new VSS from Acura and had the same effect no speedo working. So after reinstallin the original VSS back into the trans I am stuck with this annoying bouncing problem. Any suggestions? I have repeatedly checked the cluster connections to ensure solid connects~

.(PROBLEM FIXED)When the vehicle is started the tach either does not work or just flutters sporadically, when I say flutter I mean it just bounces around aimlessly. I cannot think of any recent modifications or issues that have taken place that could have caused this. The VTEC still works which leads me to think that it has to do with the dash harness more than anything else. I say this because my understanding is VTEC will not function properly without a tach connection and if something were faulty then it would be a check engine light. Has anyone ever experienced this phenomenon that could remedy this before I seriously start troubleshooting?.(PROBLEM FIXED IGNORE)

I think i remeber someone talking about this a long time ago somewhere they fixed it by reseating the cable in the back of the cluster i think could just be a bad connection

Same thing happend to me before and it turned out to be a loose ground connection on the thermostat housing. I snugged this ground connection up and it solved my car starting and acceleration problems as well.

See that is the thing, it has a mind of its own... When the car is initiatlly started the tach does not function, then around 20 mph it starts to dance. This problem has been getting progressively worse. And no it never really stops messsin around, at times it flutters around where the rpms should be but it never stays there! I just did a search on tach problems and I think I may have found a solution.

This sounds kinda like the problem a friend was having..

It seems you may have a bad ignitor. (inside the distributor)

Try that
