Default tach jumps around

my tach jumps around 4500-8200 rpm i already changed ingnitor, and coil.
but no luck. i tried another distubitor and it throws code 15. need help
anything would help.

I had the same problem. There is a wire under your cap that is the pickup for the tach. It needs to be isolated or wrapped. If it is arcing, you will have this problem. It's a easy fix.

its the ignition output wire from the ecu to the igniter in the distributor......just make sure all the wires on the igniter in the distributor are tightly connected to the terminals. the igniter is the module in the distributor that has 4 wires going to it .....3 on top and one on the side. the one on the side is the ignition output signal wire...make sure its nice and tight and you should be fine.
