Default Swapping in Integra

hey..

i want to know what the best engine in a 90 Integra to swap... i have a GS model..

Also auto tranny, going to convert to 5 spd...

JDM GSR is the best??

It depends on what you consider best. If you are looking from a monetary standpoint, no. If money is no object and all you want is power then, yes. Atleast, if you're talking strictly engine swap...

The B18C will require a conversion harness. It also comes with a hydro tranny. All manual DA's came with cable trannies. The best and easiest route to the tranny conversion will be a 1st gen B16 tranny (cable tranny) because you will be able to find parts that will directly fit your DA for it.

If you have a good bit of money to spend then you might want to consider turboing a 1st gen B16 or using your old LS block for an LSVTEC...there is a lot of great info on this site and a site called G2IC.com (specifically for DA's)...when you get some time, run the search function on this site and G2IC and read up...be careful, there is a lot of misinformation but if you read carefully you'll be able to pick it all out...have fun, I hope that I've been some help....
