Any suggestoins out there for what I can do for modifacation to my Integra B18b, I have a short ram air intake, B&M short shifter and stabilization kit, this weekend I will be installing crower camshafts. Anyone else have idea's that are good mods to make besides a catback (that will be my next install). I have thought about putting a Skunk 2 Intake manifold but I was told that I dont have enough mods to my top end and I would lose lots of torque I am not sure how much new camshafts will help with the Skunk2. Please feel free to help me out, eventhough I am sure this exact question has been asked about a billion times here. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

 

TURBO it if possible.

 

yeah thats the plan for the spring probably go with a DRAG kit going to try to build my bottom end up over the winter.

 

becasrefull with chosing that camshaf if yuo are going to turbo. With Turbo you dont want a lot of lift becasue you will get blow-by.

 

And you don't want much overlap.

 

outa all b series cams gsr cams are best with turbo unless you have an LS. hmmm...... top fuel and s2 make cams for turbo.

 

what kind of sense does that make


anyway buy some cam gears and spend some cash on tuning....and if your installing cams which one, with 403's u better be putting in the springs and retainers 402's u should be fine

I agree, with aftermarket cams... cam gears and tuning should be your next step... and in agreement as well is the need to upgrade your valve springs depending on the cam profile... LS valve springs are not very stiff and are prone to valve float at higher rpms... especially w/ aftermarket cams.

Yeah I deffinetly will be putting new springs and titanium valve retainers in, what about an intake manifold with new cams will I still be losing lots of bottom end??

 

no not in you ls. gsr are best for boost for stock b series motors. VTEC baby
