Default stripper

94 LS, fully loaded, I don't know what all to strip to save some weight on this thing, I've already pulled out my back seats, that was 36 pounds. I never use my A/C, so I'm gonna pull that out, the compressor looks like its about 25-35 pounds. What else should I pull out? I've got nothing in the back of my car pretty much, just the carpet. anything else under the hood that can be trashed?

Ask yourself this first. What is your goal with your vehicle?

Most things inside the car don't weigh too much, so removing them won't do much at all. If you're after those few tenth's of a second on a road course, then maybe. An occasional weekend dragger definitely isn't worth it making it into a noisy, rattling, machine.

Anywho.....
As people have said:
1) A/C
2) Carpets
3) Rear seats
4) Replace front seats with lighter ones
5) Sorry....gotta run, will EDIT later.

power steering i hear makes a difference........

rear seats, passenger seat, carpet, floor mats, sound detining (however you spell it) material, speakers, spoiler! LOL, side moldings, plastic panels, stereo, center console, spare, jack, power antenna system...put in some lexan windows/sunroof?! dont know how light you want to make the car? full race car?

I'm just looking to shave off about a 100 pounds. I intend on keeping it street, but that 100 pounds would help some. Like...back seats I definately do NOT need, nor do I need the AC. Thats why I was asking is there anything else I don't need. I like having ABS, and power steering. So I guess theres nothing else to take out....

well for starters...besides the obvious weight reductionthat everyone else here has said.(rear seats, a/c ETC)
what about that 900 lbs (<--j/k)you'll know when u change it )stock cast iron exhaust manifold? replace that, with a good set of headers, definatley helps both in weight reducing and power production, {unless you've already done so}.

You can remove the rear wiper assembly, rear seat belts, the windshield wiper resevoir, and passenger air bag, get a racing steering wheel to replace the driver side airbag.
