Default stripped block

the drivers side holes in the block where the motor mount attach are stripped does anybody have experience with this i need help do i need to pull the motor or can i just use an engine hoist to hold it and retap the holes

pretty sure your gonna have to pull the engine out to get the angle right when re-tapping.
i had an engine built once and when they shipped it back to me the part of the block your talking about cracked off on one of the holes. i ended up having to drill the holes out bigger and tap them with a bigger size to make everything work. drilling through the cast block mount was a BITCH tho.

there is nothin on either side of it i have no ps or ac the timing belt is the only thing that might be

You can raise and support the block from underneith with a jack and a big block of wood. I did this myself and was able to tap and repair all 3 bolt holes for the driver side motor mount.

awesome i will try this tomorrow im worried i will have to drill out and go bigger which is really gonna suck

helicoil, that's what u did just recently. hope it holds

i thinks it's m10 with 1.25 step

Helicoil, no way, I used a Time sert. It's been almost 2 years and almost 50k miles later, still no problems.
