Strange electrical problem
Sup guys,
I've been having a strange problem that started a couple days ago. I'll be riding along, and I take my foot off the gas. When I remove all pressure from the gas pedal, my cd player, and radar detector reset, and sometimes the ABS light comes on. The ABS light stays on for a little while and then shuts off.
It's really annoying when you're trying to listen to music while driving and it keeps shutting off every minute or so.
What could be causing this problem? I checked the tension in my belts and they seemed to be OK.
Thanks

I would think the alternator may be ready to go out, or a loose ground or something. Tighten various electrical connections like battery, ground points, etc.
If it's the alternator, sometimes just an alternator brush replacement works.

I agree with tech8. Check your electrical connections. Specifically the battery and alternator connections. Did you have work done on either recently?
The alternator belt self destructed so I had it replaced. This was about 4 months ago.
The last 3-4 times I've drove the car the problem seemed to be alleviated. Strange. Alternator is probably getting ready to **** the bed.
Thanks for the replies, fellas.
