Stock LS and bad mileage....
I've been driving my girlfriends bone 95 stock automatic Integra LS for a few days. Weather has been nasty.
Anyway, I noticed her car is only getting about 205 miles to a full tank of gas. And that is driving very conservate.
What the hell is up? Oil just changed, new air filter, reset the ecu.
What else should I check. I asked her about it, and she thought it was normal. Is that right? I figured a stock LS Integra would be getting better mileage than this. My swapped hatch gets roughly 265 on a full tank hitting Vtec on the reg.

Like you said the weather has been nasty, this plays a great part in how your car computes air/fuel mixture, if its nice out the air pressure is high, ok gas milage good air/fuel mix, bad weather does the opposite, here is something for you to read:http://blizzard.rwic.und.edu/~....html 5.2 Why are there seasonal changes?
go to the weather part you'll see for yourself

get plugs too if you don't know how old the others are.

Re: (brick top)
and check the distributor for wear and tear.
also, it would be helpful to get an ACTUAL mpg reading, if you dont know how to do this, its simple.
fill up with gasoline.
reset your trip.
drive until you need to fill up next
fill up your tank, take the reciept.
look at your trip odometer.
divide the amount of miles in that trip, by the amount of gallons you filled up with. thats your Miles per gallon. good to do every once and awhile.

I have a stock LS pretty much and I only get about 220 miles/tank. I have no idea how you guys are getting over 300! Thats nuts!!!!

Re: (XplodeTeg)
^^Same here with a 300k mile B18A^^ Somethings not right if you don't get 300 a tank. Some items to check, clogged cat, clogged air/fuel filters, weak ignition system, cam timing skipped, etc.
