jdm 2.5 itr headers with heat shield
blox intake manifold
72 mm rpm service throttle body
jdm itr red valve cover
plugged the fpr gauge stock fpr back and ls intake box
the rest is stock... will i pass visual or are they gonna trip about the throttle body?

thanks guys its a hassle i had to cut my j1 cause my ecu is chipped and it would be a hassle to put back the stock gsr manifold and if i put a gsr thottle body i would have to change my acceleration cable and type r bracket : (
I just went to the state ref this morning and I passed! I had a skunk 2 IM and JDM CTR Cams. The rest was stock. I used an LS intake and I replaced ALL of my vacuum hoses. I didn't even have my heat sheild on my stock headers because I had JDM ITR Headers before that. I couldn't find it and I thought I wasn't going to pass. I came close to failing because of HC (Hydrogen Carbon) off by one point!

Are you LSV or GSR, cause if your block is LS and the valve cover says VTEC , come on now that a dead give away that it doesn't belong there! the 72mm TB is very visable as well! and does you air intake have a carb excempt sticker on it? jdm headers are not carb excempt, but most of the time the ref wont catch on to them, just visual...but if you go under the smog test for get about it...Good luck dude..

The JDM header won't cause you to fail the actual smog test. They usually fail because they won't pass visual. If he has a heatshield that won't be a problem, since it'll look stock. He also said he has the LS intake, so that's a stock intake. It sounds like everything looks pretty stock, so I'd say you'll probably pass visual. The only thing might hang you up is the throttle body.

get a stock throttle body and you shoud be fine, make sure there are no exposed wires or old looking vacuum lines bacuse they will complain about those, and make sure your pcv system is hooked up properly, ive failed visual for the pvc vacl not being in the little gromet that goes in the little hole on the intake manifold, that was super gay
