I have a 94 integra rs and when I tried to start it up today it made a loud grinding noise and wouldn't start. I tried starting it again and now it makes a winding noise with no ginding. I haven't had any previous problems with the starter before this. Does that sound like a bad starter?

 

sounds like a starter, but it could be stripped teeth on the flywheel too.

 

Or a spring from the clutch disc that fell out.

To me it really sounds like the starter. It sounds like the starter isn't fully engaging which causes it to free spin and sometimes grind on the side of the flywheel.
