Default Spraying. Is it safe?

I know the only way to safely spray is get colder plugs and tune your a/f ratio to rich the hell out of the mixture when you're on juice. You can do that pretty easy with something like hondata and have the fuel map set at normal until WOT, where it would rich out real bad. You'd be stuck spraying whatever shot the a/f ratio was tuned at, right? I've heard of people spraying up to 100shot safely on integras. Is it worth doing more research into or is it a cheap and unreliable way to go fast?

The other thing on the market is the Venom Programable nitrous kit, where its own computer figures out the correct a/f ratio for the selected shot of nitrous. It claims it can handle up to 175shot. Auto shuts off if the mixture leans out, etc, etc. Is that just a cheap hack or do they make programs for the integra that will do pretty much what I just outlined in my previous paragraph?

Correct me where I'm wrong. I'm just toying with the idea of running nitrous. I've heard mixed opinions on it, and from what I've read it can be safe if programmed for it.

Just provide enough fuel and hope you pistons can take that abuse, small shots aren't a big deal like 35-50, but 100, I would probably fortify my internals just to make me feel better when spraying, nothing feels worse then punching holes in blocks.

This would all be done on a stock B18B

My cousin has a 01 gsr, with stock internals, and he was spraying 50 but sometimes changing to 60 (he had problems with 60, he says that he wasn't getting enough fuel) ... he would use the sh*t out of it , refilling bottles every weekend. took him about 3 months to blow his motor.

if you use a zex kit its pretty safe
and get an a/f gauge and keep an eye on it when you spray
a good cause that makes the car lean out is incorrect bottle pressure. If you do use nitrous get a bottle warmer and a gauge.

if your gonna use hondata then your 100% safe to spray. the hondata has an option for nitrous. when you spray it will retard your timing and increase fuel. you could go up to a 100shot. if your in cali contact raver motorsports. they have an awesome nitrous system that works awesome.

i have an 01 gsr w/ ctr cams, intake, and zex dry 75 shot its been over 6 months and no problems so far. but to be safe retard your timming 2 degrees for 60 shot, and 4 degrees for a 70 shot ect. also u might want to look into some ngk's that are also 2 degrees colder than stock. ZEX

Ive heard you should never go over 55 on stock internals, because the compression in a integra is so high its not safe. I would go with a wet kit, I think they are much easier on the motor. If I were you, I would go with a 55 wet ZEX kit.
