this is just quick assumption , but it sounds like your problem might not be your tranny. It sounds like either a vacume problem , like a clogged hose or the pcv valve that sits on the oil separater box. or could just be your throttle position sensor, no light shows when that starts to go. or I could be completely off cuz I can't drive it to really know!
