Skunk2 vs Tein basic
Anyone use both of these? Which ones did you like better? From what I've read, they're practically the same. Whats the primary difference between the two? Its going on a street drivin 96 teg that'll be getting boost soon. Thanks for the input.
i got tein h-tech lowering springs on my '00 gsr. they are smooth ride and has better handling. im pretty sure the tein basic damper would be worth the money.
That what I thought...its only $160 price difference between the two. Cheapest I found Tein's were $800 shipped and for Skunk2's $640 shipped. My friend has the Skunk2's, but has never had Teins. He loves them, but has nothing to compare them too

i run omnipower full coilovers on my teg and i LOVE them. I dont have anything to compare them too, but after researching on here, people have said the Omnis are better than the skunk2s and are extremely similiar to the tein basics.
the choice is yours! many ppl will say go with tein just cuz its tein...

they are alright. a little too soft for my liking. ill be getting rid or them for some Koni/GC's in hopefully the near future.

i have omnipower Sport and you're seriously going to sit here and compare them to tein BASICS??? are you out of your mind? tein is a very good product but the basics are no where NEAR omnis full coilovers.... my boy has the tein superstreets on his rsx and would much rather have my omnis. i would compare them to flex at minimum minus valve adjustability. but omni doesnt need that, it comes ready in the box SET TO PERFORM

i would strongly recommend getting camber kits if you're getting coilovers. dont half-*** on suspension. if you're going to work on your suspension, do it right the first time.
