Easy man DIY! Your first time will probably take you an hour or 2.

Very very easy, especially if the car is already lowered. The hardest part on a stock car is removing the springs (usually people just rent a spring compressor or are really careful when they decompress the spring).

Here is a how-to, as long as you have a metric socket set with ratchet and a breaker bar, jack, and jackstands, you should be good to go. Remember to reuse your stock tophats, bumpstops and washers, and remove the brakeline brackets and put them on your new shocks.

if it already has coilovers, you won't have a problem. The springs are shorter than stock, so they aren't compressed enough to hurt anyone when you pop off the top bolt. Just don't pinch your fingers or anything, since you will be holding the shock piston in place with an allen wrench and turning the bolt with a closed end wrench.

u dont really need a spring compressor, it just kind of makes the job a little easier and safer.
a guy at a local shop doesnt use one..when he takes off the springs he puts the shock in front of a tire, steps on the shock, n takes of the top with his airtool n just lets the spring shoot at the tire. it really works well cus thats how he always does it, n it makes the job a lot faster. he used a compressor for putting the springs on the shocks but only for 2 of them cus they gave him a hard time
