Ok, I’m new here and yes i have searched but not found what i need to fix the problem. it started a week ago when I was reversing out of a parking space. i was waiting for my friend to drive off in front of me when my rpms dropped a bit and it felt like the car started to engage and made a chattering feeling (I had my foot to the floor on the clutch waiting in 1st) when it moved i herd a small squeak.... but that went away. ever since then its been hard shifting in to gears with out the engine dropping to 2000. some times it wont go into gears at a stop and i can only either wait and force it into reverse with some very little grinding or I’ve turned off the car once and it went in perfect but even with the clutch in it latched forward... WTF M8? so.......

I’ve read up and my limited knowledge led me to think it’s the clutch slave or master cylinder. so, I replaced the slave and that helped... and then the master and it got a little better. but it still has resistance shifting into gears and I don’t want to force anything. I can now drive it but i have to treat it with care. I need your guy's pro help is it the clutch, pressure plate, tanny, shift linkage (I have a short shifter on it) plz put in your 2 cents.......

 

i had the same problem and it was the pressure plate not comin off.

 

thanks i always hear people say they have this problem but i never actually herd a ending solution
