shifter bushing install--help
I found one answer in a search but I can't seem to get this new Energy Suspension bushing in no matter how hard I try. I used a screw driver to try and force it in at an angle and everything just keeps slipping out!
Any ideas?

You must have hands like a vice grip to do that with all that grease on the thing making it slip around.
I like the idea of stepping on it do do it. That may work. Does the entire bar just fall out? I don't want to take out my whole exhaust to remove it. I have a 3" thermal so there is not alot of room to drop it. There are 2 bars there. Does the shift stabilizer bar come out alone and disconnect from the shifter bar? I didn't take a good enough look under there.
