Shifter Bushing Install
Hey guys im just wondering if anyone can tell me the correct procedure for replacing the bushing? or even a diagram.
I was told that this can all be done from within the car, just gotta remove center console, etc..is this correct?

Are you talking about the bushing for the stabilizer bar? If so, just get underneath the car, and follow the shift linkage back. You may have to move the exhaust out of the way (do this while the car is cool btw). There's two bolts holding the braket in place, just unbolt it, grease up the stabilizer bar so you can slide it out the hole, grease up the new bushing so you can slide the stabilizer bar back in, refit the bracket, and bolt it back in.
I'm pretty sure the bolts are 10mm, and you can get around the exhaust by just kinda pushing it to one side and using a 6" extension on the ratchet.

Re: Shifter Bushing Install (jolt-tsp)
in my car there's two bushings. the one on the shifter end, and the other bushing goes in the stabilizer bar. even if u don't have a diagram just get under there and look for the same looking bushing and basically replace it with the newer ones.
note - the round bushings that go on the stabilizer bar on the tranny end is a biatch to get into the circle. you might have to do some trimming of the bushing itself. it's not a good fit.

you will also have to trim the end of the stabilizer bar where the longer bushing goes on back by the shifter
a dremel works good
