i have a moster tach shift light, but i got it for street racing, cause i dont' like to look at the tach
i like to look at the streets and know whats ahead of me, never know what moron will pull out in front of you.

but for track its more accurate to get those few 100rpms more.
style now are them little apexi indiglo ones the size of the water temp gauges ect....

they help for safety, when racing oxym0ron haha!

ez to install just tap into another power and the speedo wire
autometer, apexi, velox

I payed for a VDO shift light, Autometer RPM activated switch, and rpm Pills and spent about the same price of an autometer monster tach. I just hate thoes ugly *** tachs! sorry they would be rice to me I alredy got a tach in my gsr so why another one? I think the shift light looks real good! It is equipped with a RED LED bulb and looks much better than the MSD ones with the condom over them but the msd is cheaper and does not require a RPM switch to work!?!

Oh, that's interesting. I didn't know you didn't need an aftermarket tach to get a shift light. I was thinking about getting one. So you're saying that I could get one of those Autometer shift lights without the monster tach? Nice. I have too many things to monitor now. EGT, Speedo, A/F.....damn turbo. Hehe. I don't want to have to look at my tach now when I want to race.
