Default Shift Light Question??

I saw this a while back and I'm hoping that someone remembers what I am talking about.
Its a shift light that does not need any "pills" or RPM cards and does not attach to any aftermarket Tach. It basically hooks up to your car and can sit on the dash or be mounted somewhere. The one I am thinking of is just a light by itself and is fully adjustable to be set to go off at any RPM.
Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about. It seems the one I saw was around $50.
Thanks in advance. (I searched on this, but I didn't find anything)

not sure if either of these are what you saw before, but worth checking out:

this one is a F1 style sequential shift light:

or this is a more conventional light:

Sounds like a very stealth install. I have an RS too. Do you have pictures of your install or the final look?

Thanks,
Phil

If you want a really stealth look. I have the autometer shift lite with the rpm pill inside my center heating vent. Looks great. Nobody can see it unless you pay attention to close detail or I'm in redline.
