You don't need that bolt to keep it aligned...

Get a piece of something (I used an eraser) and put it in the end of the shift **** hole, then tighten it untill it's aligned right.

it's not called anything, just call the parts department, tell them you own a (year) Type R, than tell them i need the reverse locking nut that goes under the shift ****. THAN, if the parts guy is competant, he'll look up the diagram on the computer and find the part number. it's really quite simple, call again and ask for the reverse locking nut, they should know easily what you're talking about

Man, I had the same problem. But in my case, I just found a nut lying in the garage and used that. Then went to OSH to get my friend one. Only cost 3 cents and some gas.

I had the black leather with red stitching **** and replaced it with a JDM titanium shift **** and the difference was night and day. It gave a more direct feeling to the car

I just got the Black Spoon Sports shift ****. It seems a little too light, ut I have yet to put it on my car and try it out because my R is not running.

Spoon duracon is very light since it's plastic. You will feel more vibrations from your car but it does not get hot at all.
