got a problem gay **** my Gsr sakes side to side only when i gas it feels like the engine mounts lose or mess up but dont realy know for shure cant figure out wat the expletive wrong with it and some times the problem gose away on the high way only happens when i apply gas but when i clutch it it goes away got any idea wat it could be???? my aim is elusivesximage need help ASAP

 

Have you checked to see if any mounts or broken/damaged? the rubber bushings could be shot... are all the mounts tightened? also? no loose mount bolts?

 

i think its shot cause i can shake the engine with my hand when i pull on the intake manifold soo if the mounts all shot would that cause the engine to Shake the car likeCRAZY ???? this started to happen when i lower the car i check the sespension though all bolts tight and the bushin on the struts good though i donno it shakes mad hard only when i gas it though

 

if you can move the engine around, then you need mounts ASAP

 

the SHIFTER SHAKES like CRAZY too

 

I agree with rhtuner, double check eveything and make sure every mounts is toruqed down to specs. And yes bad mounts would allow the enginge to shake. Think of it as a large circle O and then a smaller --- shaft(i know it sounds messed up) with all that extra room it just gives it more play...Hope that helped a little

 

What year?? Your bushings may be shot

 

if its your motormounts try http://www.innovativemounts.com if you plan on upgrading to stronger mounts.

 

the mounts are shot. done You say it started after lowering the car. I'm betting the car is really low. maybe the axle is actually binding or is the car misfireing? A misfire wouldn't be as prevalent at highway speeds? just a thought. Good luck

i think its my axel cause i kinda shot my strute and it landed on my axel .... no spring compresor

 

get new motor mounts and poly urethene bushings.

Hahaha, you just shot the shock off? How far did it fly? If you don't have a spring compressor you're supposed to lay the shock/spring flat on the ground with a wheel at each end to keep everything together when it explodes apart.

^ First check which ones are bad/look bad, then either get a new mount or an aftermarket insert.

 

hey its the mounts for sure man...my integra is doing the same, i can rock my engine and it fells like it bounces when i let go of the gas peddle...also my shifter shakes too...have not change it yet, but i know for sure its the mounts...

Just get polyurethane motormount inserts from http://www.energysuspension.com

 

it was the axelz haha replace both and the shaking stop but still need new mounts im also looking for a good suspention set up dont give a **** about comfert just need GOOD perfomence

 

Just my .02 but before you worry about perfomence you might wanna take a trip back to grammar school.
