Setting the Idle
Well hi its me again.. Well this is the problem.. i bought this 96 Integra and usually I turn he idle down from under the hood on the throttle body with a flathead.. but seems like the old owner of the car chewed that piece up to use a Flat head. so is there anything else i can do to turn down the Idle? because its idling @ 2K. Please Let Me Know. thanks
You can adjust it with that screw all you want but its never going to fix it. Your problem is not with that screw if your idling a 2k your problem lays else where. Possibly vacuum
leak or dirty iacv not that little screw.

You can take a dremel or drill with a really small cut off wheel and cut a notch into the screw so you can turn it.. I agree with "j_bizach", you have a bigger problem than the idle screw. Check all your vacumm connections, your FITV, IACV and throttle cable adjustment.. if your cable is too tight it can hold the throttle plate open making your idle high.
Besides high idle, how does the car drive?
