Default Is this safe....

In two weeks I'll have my VTEC head paid off and I'm going to be running a LS VTEC 94 Integra. I was wondering if I could still use my LS pistons, rods etc (bottom end) with this LS/VTEC setup. It's a b16 head with gsr cams, and aem cam gears, a new throttle body (skunk2). As long as I'm not ******* it out (I still haven't reached 7,000 rpms in it yet) should I be able to run this setup for a while up until I get some type-r pistons and all that stuff for my bottom end? Because I really don't want it to just sit at the house and collect dust for weeks and weeks without it being in my car. Plus I would have help on putting it in my car. Let me know guys, very interested in what I should do here.

Why wouldn't it be safe?

If you're Just changing the pistons, that won't make it any safer to rev later on.
for the bottom end anyways, ARP rodbolts are a good thing to have also.

So you're saying it would be safe to just keep the LS pistons and bottom end without ******* out the car. I was going to get some ARP rodbolts definetly but I mean the VTEC head is done and mine in 2 weeks.

Yes, you might make more power off the type-r pistons,
but it won't make it any safer to rev like a vtec block.

So what would make it safe to rev like a VTEC block?

Basically what I'm asking is, would it be safe to run it just how it is now... If no, then what would make it safe...

Just keep it around 7k, and you should be fine,
Keep in mind, That's if everything is put together good also.

Good news man thanks a bunch. I'm having a friend from TeamIntegra actually help me build it up. He says that I don't HAVE to build up the bottom end since it's a daily driver and since I'm in Florida, high compression pistons won't help too much since it's soo hot here. But yeah thanks for the hlp though man.
