Replacing radiator this weekend, and tips?
Damn thing went TU this morning. I have a new replacement coming in ($209 was the best price I could find) and will do the install Saturday.
I've done radiators on other cars before, is this pretty much the same? It didn't look like there was too much to it.
TIA-

It's pretty easy man. 2 big hoses for the main flow. Remove the overflow tank hose. Two brackets up top held in by 10mm bolts and the bottom is a "slip in" joint type of deal. Oh yeah, you will have to remove the radiator fans too. Trivial matter. Unplug the two harness plugs and prolly easiest to remove the fans after you pull the radiator out. It's really easy. Almost enjoyable.
Cool, I think I can handle that. Never done a radiator on a car with electric fans before, but like you said they look like they'd be easier to remove (and replace) with the radiator out.
Thanks.
Heh, I can barely afford to mod one car. Last thing I need is to get into another.

The hardest part of the uninstall/install was getting the damn fan connectors to seperate
, those things were a pain in the *** other than that its a fairly easy process, good luck.

Well it's done. Pretty easy, like you all said. Total of about 1 hour labor, maybe a little more if you count cleaning up everything that the antifreeze got all over.
Thanks for all the help.
