removing climate control
i know its been covered, but all the searches i looked up wasnt what i was looking for.
http://www.geocities.com/mt3c/DIY_Amber_CC.html on this guys write when he explains how to remove the off, fan, 1, 2, 3, 4 part he said to just slide under the plastic. i tried that but i just coulndt get under the plastic. anybody have any suggestions? and when you do get it off does it fit right back on with its original adhesive or would you have to glue it back or something? any ideas would be appreciated, TIA.

what are you using to slide under that plastic? I used a razor blade and worked it on the bottom edge till the piece came out. I used the original adhesive and just stuck it back on. It came out pretty nice, but I'm still looking for something better. BE VERY CAREFUL when using the nail polish remover, especially around the "OFF". Too much, and you will mess up the letters. Keep trying with that razor blade and just have some patience. It will come off. Good luck
It seems pretty clear to me...use a razor and/or a screwdriver to get under the plastic. I'd also try heating it up with a hairdryer or something. You'll need new adhesive to get it back on.
wat would you suggest i use as an adhesive if the original one doesnt work. as for the razor blade ill try that and let you guys know if it works, thx.
