remove engine anyone?
Which motor?
The choice of which way to come out depends on whether the head is still on the block or not. I had the head and manifolds off already, so I dropped the engine down instead of lifting it up and out.
It basically comes down to having the engine isolated from the chasis, hoses, and wiring harnesses.

ur gonna have to lift it from the top.. u might need to use a pry bar incase it gets stuck in some placed, oh and take all the mounts completely off, especially the rear mount, it will get in the way and is a pain in the butt.
good luck.
good luck.
if u dont have an engine hoist...u might want to take the head off and transmission coz the only way u can take this out is jacking up the car and putting a jackstand as high as possible so u can pull this from the bottom...thats what i did with mine...if u happen to have a really high jackstand then u dont have to take the head and tranny...this should not take u more than 3 hours max if u know what u doin...hope this helps
gsr motors are relatively easy. as long as you don't have problems with stripped bolts, stuck axles, etc. with a few people working on it, it should be out within an hour.
you can either lift the motor out or remove the crossmember and drop the motor from the bottom.

yeah dont forget to disconnect anything when pulling it out like the motor mounts, and some of the wires, hehe, Good luck its not that hard. You'll figure it out when you do it. Let us know how it goes and take some pictures.
