redlined and wasnt able to shift
Okay i was in first gear and i stepped on the gas all the way down and went all the way to 7000 rpm but didnt get to shift gears on time and my car jereked...could i have done any damage to my engine?
If you did this once, and didn't do it over and over again, than no, chances are you didn't do any damage at all. That's the whole point of the STOCK FACTORY SET rev limiter or redline...
Check your oil, but you should be fine. Just be careful next time...

The only issue I see is generally the momentum of the car propels it past where the engine could shut off (1st gear runs out at 39mph and generally if you floor it in first it will take you to about 45). Thus, you could have gone over the stock redline, however unless the car is running like crap, then no damage has been done and you can act like it never happened. Generally honda gives you a couple hundred rpms past "fuel cut" before any damage is actually done.
