My shifting has been gettin kinda jacked up lately and I'm not sure if its my tranny. It never grinds when I go into gear, which tells me my synchros are fine, however the gears dont shift smoothly, as in it is hard to get into first, reverse, etc when the engine is running. However when the engine is off and the car is cold it shifts flawless. I am changing to energy suspension MM inserts cause I think mine are old, and I wanna use redline fluid to try and fix the problem. I have a 93 LS, what redline MTL should I be using? Also if anyone might know another reason this would happen I'd love the input. Thanx.

Sounds like your clutch is not fully disengaging. Make sure your clutch master & slave cylinders are in good condition. Try bleeding them as well.
In that case, you may need to adjust your clutch. I beleave there is a bolt you can turn in the engine bay which does the adjusting, I really don't know a whole lot about it though.

I know it shifts perfect when the car isnt running. I was thinkin maybe if the tranny side motor mount is shot the vibration might mess my shifting up. Possible? I am changin to ES mounts and changin tranny fluid this week.
