recharing AC problem
fyi: my AC never worked, has air but not cold
the guage has the following marking:
0~25 psi: low
25~45 psi: filled
45~65 psi: warning
65~200 psi: danger
I put the guage on the low side port for AC, near the radiator, there was nothing in there, 0 psi, this is with AC on max
so ok, I thought to myself, and I decided to pour a can in, as soon as I pierce the can the psi went up to 100 which is danger so I detached the can from the Low port, the content BARELY poured in
something wrong? or I should just let it pour in?
also, I took a screw driver into the L port and it went pssst for no more than 2 seconds

Get a helms manual for your model car. NOT haynes, NOT chiltons.
Only the helms explains the whole dischagre/recharge procedure in detail and what readings SHOULD be on the gauges.
And you should read a few books or web sites on automotive A/C
in general.
A year and a half ago I didn't anything about auto A/C.
And now I know even less. hehe J/K
Seriously, I KNEW nothing and now I can discharge/recharge the
system and understand why it does what it does. Just from the helms
and auto a/c websites.
