Im currently doing a gsr build with rs 81.5mm pistons and acl's. The stock bearings were green with the exception of 1 brown and 1 yellow set. So Im going with acl's, for $50 you can't beat them. If Rocket Motorsports sells and uses them, they gotta be good quality

Update: it should be about a week for the machine shop to finish up
i ordered my acl rod and main bearings

im going to get some blox type b cams and springs from ebay and prolly use my same valves

Damn bro, I wish I seen your port post sooner asking about those acl race bearings. I bought mines for only $89 shipped from Modern Automotive Performance.

I'm all for the LS crank I did it with two of my set-ups and had no issues the only differance is that I had the ARP rod bolts installed on the rods and beat it on on for a year damn there every sunday,tues, thurs and sat nights racing at the Jax's meets

lol nice... im putting arp rod bolts also...did u bend the oil quirters urself? and wat numbers did u put down?

New? If new, then yeah, that's decent. I seen the springs by themselves on a website once for $99, and the cams I've seen for $300-350.

yea brand new in the box from ebay...i bought my arp rod bolts and got it in 2 days from the same guy

i put rsx seats in my teg and i didnt fit lol, im about 6"2, it was very awkward to sit in them and have a nice seat position

i spent about 3 hours putting them in before i realized this theyre comfortable as sheiyt though

nice build, u should buy my CTR N1 Crank pulley

i got my engine today but i was looking at it and i put the piston inside of the cylinder and it doesnt fit all the way...half of the piston goes in

Did you have personal experience with this or you just talking out your a**? I've done this set up on my gsr block and have no issues whatsoever. Car haul ***....

good luck ur on the right track seems like ur putting a lot into the drivetrain have you given any thought to tuning your handling. dc2 are well known for with small help to curve banging with the best of them of course i love and honor factory jdm parts and few aftermarkies to turn your low rider into a true sports car! good luck with it bump!
