So just recently my whole automatic door lock system has been acting up lately in my gsr. The next thing i know my driver side door fails to open even turnig the key. I have a feeling that the lock itself either broke or somehow disengaged. Ive tried to take the door panel off but this is difficult because the door cannot be opened. So now every time i enter and exit my car i have to climb over the passenger seat to drive. Has anyone had this problem before or suggest me the cheapest route to fix this having a broke college student in mind.

 

This also happened to me a lil bit ago.your gonna have to find a way to get the door panel off(Its possible i did it) its most likely ur gonna break somethin but o well. next your gonna have to mess with the lock mechanism

(what went wrong with mine was that the rod that connects to the handle (from the outside) got caught some how like in the middle) so after doing all that stuff i already mention i took the handle out and push that rod down n my door popped open

damn i dono if i trust myself busting the door panel off... **** well i guess ill give it a try but i just do not see how its possible

 

news today. car just randomly turned off while driving and i dono why. checked plugs they look a little lean. also i noticed that my fp was around 30 psi so i tried turning it up with my bandm fpr and it lowered after turning egnition on??? then i put a stock fpr in and now no fuel pressure at all. wtf?? **** just never goes my way

 

Sounds like the beginiing of major electrical problems. A locksmith should be able to get your door open at least.
Check the fuel pump/wiring/fuse if you're not getting any fuel pressure.

 

check the main relay, and all ur fuses then move on and test the pump
