Hey guys i wonder if any of you have hook ups at an acura dealership so i can get my code for my radio. Its in Acura radio in my civic and they refused to give it to me because its not in the right car. Here is the numbers on the back

just try callin random acura dealerships, look them up online, I can tell you I have called acura on lehigh st. in emmaus PA and they gave it to me over the phone

 

just ask for the parts department

same for me.. i had a honda radio and called the elk grove honda dealer.. they wouldnt give it to me over the phone.. i called elk grove acura.. they gave it to me right away.. no questions...

i have the same problem.. i just called a local dealer, and they said they'll charge $15.95. i called the elk grove dealership, and they said you need to bring the car in and prove the car is yours as well as providing the serial number off the stereo.

 

call more, just look up acura dealers and get the parts department, I am telling you I have dont this before

 

I have called over a half a dozen dealerships in my WV area and back home in knox, TN. They all give me some sort of the same story. Bring ur car and prove its yours. Thinking that my car is an integra, or they tell me they wont give it to me cuz its in a honda blah blah. i guess im having bad luck. Thanks for the replies so far

 

Just keep calling.When my stereo was locked out, I called the acura dealership.I gave them the serial number on the back part of the unit and in 10 secs they had the code. They never asked me about what car it was in or anything.
