Apparently autozone gave me a radiator for an automatic transmission. My friend says it will make no difference if I use that. So my question is should I bring it back and get the one without the auto tranny connector things on the bottom? I have a 00 gsr btw.

use that one. im pretty sure thats the only one they sell, aftermarket. its universal

 

Maybe I'll just use it, anyone else have input on this?

 

It's fine. My radiator I've had in my car since 2004 is universal, you just don't hook up the fittings for the tranny cooler. It's just a passage for the ATF to flow through. No coolant can get out from those fittings.

 

Looks like I'll be using the universal. Damn had to make arrangements to get a ride to school and get up freaking early because I thought I had the wrong rad.
