Quick 5spd/auto compatibility question
Hey guys, I might have a line on an automatic Integra, and I want to use the motor to replace my pooched motor.
Will it be as simple as bolting my flywheel onto the motor out of the automatic?
Reason I ask is I know when you're doing this on my old car (an RX7) you'd have to screw around with counterwieghts... wondering if there's any little **** like that I'll need to know about.
Thanks, Dirk

If you have a chassis that came with a manual tranny, then yes your tranny should bolt right up to the engine and drop right in. Both manual and auto LS Integras came with the same B18B engine.

My 5-speed tranny is still good.
