Default question about shift boot assembly

the trim piece that the shift boot actually wraps around doesnt clip into place right. Its slides in closest to the radio but the back doesnt clip in right closest to the arm rest. if that doesnt paint a good enough picture 1st 3rd 5th equals the front.

Anyways the metal the boot is wrapped around doesnt look like the same as in my first teg and i would guess thats why the back of it doesnt slide in an lock into place. I want to know if there is anywhere i can buy a new piece so my boot is on right because right now the top is locked in place right but the back you can see down the hole because it wont lock in
