Default Question about converting to OBD-I

I have a 98 Ls and have been doing some search about converting to OBD-I(For Hondata).
I would need an Ecu? But which ecu would i need? P72 right? But would an GSR ecu be fine for my LS??
I would need wire harness.
Is there anything else that is needed. it seem like those are the 2 main thing?

you need an OBD1 p75 ecu which is an LS ecu...and the harness as you said.

you cant just put an obd1 ecu on a obd2 car. just get the skunk2 conversion harness. and a p75 ls obd1 ecu, and you'll be all set.

all you need to do an obd1 conversion on an obd2 car is the obd2 to obd1 conversion harness and the obd1 ecu needed for your car (in your LS case a P75 obd1) nothing else is needed, just plug it in and go. then add hondata or a chip to the obd1 ecu if wanted.

Or you could get a conversion harness from someone else and save a boatload of money.

for overpriced Skank2 products.

Yeah forget the skunk 2 harness...while it works fine...it is too much $$$ as stated above...check the vendors forum and get the JDMSH!T.com harness for $78 shipped from Newman good guy!
